Victrola’s iconic story began back in 1906 with the Victor Talking Machine Company, bringing the magic of modern sound with its innovative turntable. Over 100 years later, they continue to push the boundaries of innovation with modern tech and a style that meets the modern consumer demands.
Victrola approached us initially with an emergency; bot traffic was skewing conversion metrics. This along with the need to offer free 2-day shipping with various product constraint logic that their previous solution provider was unable to implement. Both of these asks had to be implemented within a few days.
Outside of the asks, Victrola expressed interest in a larger conversion rate optimization and user experience design services.
After quickly providing solutions to their initial asks we provided a conversion rate optimization audit. This effort identified site performance as well as user experience opportunities. While resolving site performance issues, we also presented new designs for a few of the critical experiences on the site back to the Victrola team. The designs, once approved, were tested real-time using an AI empowered A/B/n testing tool in our toolbox, giving us an opportunity to test and refine with real customer engagement data, providing confidence for a maximum ROI prior to implementation. We then implemented the winning designs and user experiences within their Shopify theme 2.0.
One really neat aspect of the Victrola website is their blend of vintage and modern within the user experience. This pairs tightly with their product, providing a unified brand cohesion. It allows customers to experience the brand in a fuller way, maximizing customer loyalty at this important touch-point in their journey.
With performance and CRO optimization, the Victrola site now provides a better browsing experience that positively impacts its bottom line.
