Levin Furniture & Mattress is a long-standing regional furniture retailer serving customers across Pennsylvania and Ohio through a network of physical stores and a growing ecommerce presence. With a broad catalog spanning furniture, mattresses, and home furnishings, Levin operates in a category defined by large products, complex delivery logistics, and high customer service expectations. As consumer buying behavior has shifted online, the company has continued to invest in its digital commerce capabilities to support omnichannel shopping, accurate product information, and seamless coordination between online orders and in-store fulfillment.
Shopify Plus reached out to Bighorn to introduce them to the Levin Furniture & Mattress team as they were considering a replatform of two ecommerce sites to Shopify Plus. This effort was also to include custom web design, replatform along with the implementation of a custom ERP connector between Shopify Plus and the Storis ERP system.
Bighorn partnered with Levin Furniture & Mattress to evaluate the feasibility and requirements of replatforming two ecommerce websites to Shopify Plus, with a focus on supporting omnichannel retail and complex fulfillment operations. Working closely with Shopify Plus and the Levin team, Bighorn helped define a clear implementation strategy that aligned ecommerce capabilities with Levin’s existing store network and operational workflows.
A central component of the engagement was the planning and implementation of a custom integration between both their Shopify Plus stores and the Storis ERP system. This integration was designed to ensure accurate synchronization of product data, pricing, inventory availability, and order information across online and in-store systems. By addressing data flow and system dependencies early, Bighorn helped establish a scalable commerce foundation capable of supporting Levin’s catalog size, delivery requirements, and customer service expectations.
Levin Furniture & Mattress and JohnvSchultz stores operate in a high-complexity retail environment where ecommerce must support large products, regional inventory, delivery coordination, and in-store fulfillment without introducing friction.
